What's the best Java training on-line?

I am currently interested in the best on-line Java training available. I
have a fairly extensive background in software development including 7+ years
of C, some C++, some VB and a tiny amount with Java 1.0. The vast majority
of my work has been procedural based but I have recently aquired a fundamental
understanding of OO concepts. I have done some sockets development in C,
VB and C++ (via the QT framework on Linux). I want to evaluate Java 2 as
a possible candidate tool for an upcoming project and would like to develop
a fairly good understanding of its strengths and weaknesses. I would also
like to become Java certified at the developer level, if possible. Any
insights about which courses to avoid or that are highly appropriate relavent
to my background will be most appropriate.

The trails called:

"The Java Tutorial"
"The Essentials of the Java Programming Language"

are good for starting out, and then follow your interests into the
other trails
