Problem in Compilation - Need help

    Hi All,
    Problem #1.
I'm getting 'VM initialization failed ' when I'm tring to
    compile a Java pgm.

    Problem #2.
I have this problem in another computer when I'm tring to
compile a servlet. Its giving 'JAVAX.*' not found. I gave
'classpath' pointing to serlet.jar and 'path' pointing to
    java lib.

I'm a beginner and please resolve my problems..
    Thanx,
    Prabu

When you compile a servlet you need to import javax.servlet.*; and import
javax.servlet.http.*; When you want import javax.*, you import only classes
in javax, not classes in the "subdirectories".
Also, in your classpath, you need to add the servlet.jar and the java lib.
Path is for JVM exe (java.exe, javac.exe, etc.).
