    Exporting data

    Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyway to program a client/server application
with Java and export the data to an external application like Word or excel.

If it is possible, what classes or functions would you use. Thanks.

    Mark:

I am interested to know if you found an answer to this. I need to write
the results of a "submit form" to an external file AND I need to randomly
generate the name of the file it is stored in. I haven't found a solution
like this within Java, but I have to believe one exists.

Reply directly to my email (I have also included a copy of this to your email
    address).

    Chad
