Hi, this is chandu here, I had developed an appication just like Y! messenger,
which pops up a dialog box when a new mail comes into our mail account. I
had developed this application using Swings. When I am running this application
I am getting an java error reading "This program has performed an Illegal
operation and will shut down". I want to know the reason for this error and
also please inform me how can we overcome this type of runtime errors.

I would be glad if any one could help me in this regard.
