What is a good book on making a JavaScript Popup Menu?

I saw a javascript popup menu at

that opens up a new small gray color window when you click on an product
item.

Does anyone know of a good book that goes DIRECTLY into the details of doing
that with respect to writing the code?

Or maybe a web URL example that explains what I need to put in my code to
make this happen.
