Multiple Applets
I've created multiple applets that do anything from cycle through images,
plot a line plot, mimic a button being pressed, outputting formatted text,
etc... When I create a html page with one applet at a time, the applets
seem to work just fine. Things start getting ugly when I place two or more
applets on a single html page. Things don't behave like they're supposed
to and its very unpredictable as to when they're not going to work correctly.
Any idea what's going on? All the applets do utilize the paint method periodically
depending on which applets are in the web page, some even invoke threads
and continuously paint based on a time stamp. I'm using IE5 to view the
html pages. I usually get a different result each time I hit the refresh
button.
