ClassCastException

Friends,

I am deployin the application example(Converter) given in J2EE documentation
of Sun. The example shows the output when it is accessed through a Servlet
or a Jsp.

But it throwing an exception called "ClassCastException" when it is accessed
through a java program.

I will be very thankful if any can tell me the reason and solution to this
Exception .

Mahesh,

Could you please provide a link to the source code, or paste the offending
code in another response? Also, can you provide the exact error message
that you are recieving? Thanks.
