    EXE Files


    i'm a newbie to java and use jdk to write java codes in Windows Platform.

    what can i do to compile into 1 exe file?

    and how not to pop up the additional dos window when i click on the exe file?

    To get free tools, you need to change your JDK to MS SDK for JAVA. There's
    a JEXEGEN that can make EXE file. Please note that the EXE file will only
    run without trouble if IE 4.01 SP1 or above installed, certain VM should
    be there.

    More information can be found in www.microsoft.com/java

    As far as I know, there are no free tools for JDK.
