MS SDK for JAVA

Dear All,

I've created a java program, it's compiled & run well using Forte & JCreator
(Java 2 SDK). But when I use MS SDK for Java 4, following error messages
occured:

'parseFloat' is not a method in class 'Float'

What went wrong?

The Microsoft SDK doesn't support Java 2 (it hasn't been updated since about
1.1.4, I believe), and parseFloat is a method that is new in Java 2 (the
documentation says "Since 1.2"). In this case you'll have to replace this
method by Float.valueOf(string).floatValue().

Thanks for the information. If I use MS SDK, will Netscape browsers have
trouble in running my applet?
