Calling FoxPro program from Java App

I am creating a web interface to a FoxPro application. I know that I can
access FoxPro databases with JDBC but is there an API to invoke a FoxPro
    app and send it information?

There's an API to invoke **any** external application, and it's
"Runtime.getRuntime().exec(...)" where you fill in the command to invoke
your FoxPro app. Don't know whether you can then "send it information",
depends what that means. But if you are doing this from a web server, then
I'd say JDBC is likely the best way to go.
