Hi,

I was looking into a Java App servers to perform a automatic event publishing
type function to clients. Now it is to work in a LAN realtime environment
and thus latency is a big issue. Therefore a web app server is limiting as
a live tcp/ip connection would need to be maintained.

I was looking at the Enhydra Java/XML solution but i'm not sure if it supports
standard client/server (telnet like) connectivity, only web-based. Would
anyone have any suggestion as to what i could use? Rather than developing
my own server module.
