    How to read froma directory


    Hi,

    I need to write a java program to compare a list of files from the a directory(and
    sub directory) and then compare the files from the other directory. How do
    I make it take the input from the directory? Any help is appreciated?

    Hi,

    Create a File Object on that Directory and use list method to obtain the
    sub-directory list

    File f=new File("c:/temp");
    String files=f.list();
