    how do I check if a class exists, then print out the heirarchy below it? ie

    java ClassInfo javax.swing.JFrame

    class java.lang.Object
    class java.awt.Component
    class java.awt.Container
    class java.awt.Window
    class java.awt.Frame
    class javax.swing.JFrame

    Re: class hierarchy

    Look at java.lang.Class, it has methods to get the super class, class name
    and so on of any object.
