Using Tomcat 4.x on Windows with IIS
Hi,
The recent article on using Tomcat under Windows
{http://www.devx.com/webdev/articles/...pm092001-1.asp}
is ok, although as another poster says, using the latest version of Tomcat
may be easier. It makes no mention of connecting via a webserver.
I am interested in using the IIS web server as a frontend for Tomcat (rather
than having it run as a seperate server on port 8080. Tomcat 3.x is
apparently able to do this, however, Tomcat 4.x documentation only seems
to
talk about linking to Apache. Is it possible to use it with IIS? I would
like
a definitive answer on this. If someone has done it perhaps they would be
good enough to let me/us know and say how.
thanks,
David.
