    Apache - Tomcat

    I want to port the jsp application from Resin to Apache with Tomcat , since
    the servlet engine cost is low. Will Tomcat handle the session id's?
    I see that session gets killed when the response is redirected.

    you should set session
    code : session.setAttribute("x", sesi);
    response.sendRedirect("newPage.jsp);

    the newPage.jsp coding :
    <<%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" language="java" import="java.sql.*,java.io.*,java.util.*" errorPage=""session = "true" %>

    <%
    if (session.getAttribute("x").equals("") || session.getAttribute("x").equals(null) ) {
    response.sendRedirect("logout.jsp");
    } else {

    %>

    Welcome, <%= session.getAttribute("x") %>

    default session expired 30 minutes
