Hi, I am having great difficulty starting tomcat 4 with j2ee1.3.1
I have installed j2ee on my c: drive, and made an environment variable JAVA_HOME pointed to that directory.
I still get a problem. error message:

The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly

    Please help,
    Thanks,
    Bilal

    Hello,
First your command line or entry in the env file must be like that:
    SET JAVA_HOME=C:\<your path>.
Second, be sure you are using JDK 1.3.1._01 or later.
If nothing help indicate in details what happen.
    Regards,
    Peter.

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. Solved the problem. Just was being impatient. Didn't read the specs. I had not installed jdk.
    Regards,
    Bilal
