    help!-mouse click


    I am trying to get the mouse x and y coordinates when clicked. I am able
    to recognize the click in the handle events but cant get the coordinates.
    I just want to assign the x and y values to two int variables.

    in ur event handler:

    private int x; //the x coordinate where the mouse was clicked
    private int y; //the x coordinate where the mouse was clicked

    public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent hEvent)
    {
    Point pt = hEvent.getPoint();
    x = (int)pt.getX(); //i believe getX() and getY() return doubles
    so cast is necessary
    y = (int)pt.getY();

    /* rest of ur code */
    }

    This will get you the
