    How to create Control array for Button Object.

    I am developing an Calculator Applet can any body tell me how can I create
    Control array for the button object?

    Hello Ali:

    Arrays can contain objects. Try this:

    Jbutton[] buttons = new JButton[numButtons];

    where numButtons is the number of buttons you need.

    Then:
    int i;
    for(i=0; i<numButtons; i++){
    buttons[i] = new JButton();
    buttons[i].setText(""+i);
    //Set other props as necessary...
    getContentPane().add(buttons[i]);
    }

    Then you can set the properties of each button just like any other button.

    Any component will do - it doesn't need to be a JButton.
