    help on learning java3d

    Hi,
I am a 3d animator using MAYA and other 3d programmes and have some programming
background. Want to know that just by learning basics of java can I directly
learn JAVA 3d or I will have to master entire Java then only I can use it
    ?

Can I directly go to Java 3d?

Does any body know Any 3d Application software which uses Java3d?

Is there any site where I can learn more of JAVA 3d scripts and tutorials?
