converting a servlet to a JSP

I am brand new to JAVA. My first task is to take the existing servlets and
convert them into JSP. I am not sure where to begin, I know that I will
need to build a bean for the set/get. But what to put on the JSP I am not
sure. The servlet has imports for connectionpool, sql, email, activation.
How do I start to pull it apart, while I am trying to learn what the application
does. Is there a good system for dissecting this servlet?

Re: converting a servlet to a JSP

start off by converting it into a scriptlet, a single jsp page without any
beans, that will teach you a bit more about the langauge and show you what
the various bits of a JSP page do, then look at beans.

    www.jspin.com has some good examples
