Thread: Which JDK

    Which JDK


    I am using JDK version 1.0.2 I have to run my programs in Dos.I would like
    to compile and run simple programs in windows has anyone got any ideas as
    to where to start looking for a good yet easyto use JDK.

    I'd personally go to java.sun.com and download the JDK 1.3 which is far
    superior to 1.0.2 then I'd go to ForteJ which is available for free from
    SunMicroSystems and download that development software. Making the transition
    shouldn't be a problem at all if you've truly mastered 1.0.2.
