    using String value as variable

    Hi,
    I've the following question: How can I use the content of a String as a variable
    name? E.g. like this:

    int foo=2;
    String bar="foo";
    System.out.println(reference_to_foo); // has to print the content of
    foo (=2)

    How can I realize this?
    The idea behind is that I need to create some ComboBoxes in a Panel, but
    the count of these Boxes
    I don't know at compiling time. Therefore I have to create the Boxes at runtime,
    and I wanted to try
    it this way.
