    Resizing Java Applet, et al

Is there any way I could resize an applet according to the user's current
screen resolution? Or resize the background image according to the resolution?

Is there any way (in Java or HTML) to disable the scrollbar that automatically
comes up on the side of the HTML page?

    Hi,

Generate the HTML containing APPLET WIDTH & HEIGHT attribute depending on
the user resolution on the client side or server side using scripting.
The background Image can be drawn using

    drawImage(img,0,0,width height,this); method

    Regards

    Raj
