setting up java app on server

OK, so I have my app complete and working in the windows environment. Now
how do I get it to work on the server?? I know you need a web.xml file but
I don't know what else. Does anyone know an easy to understand tutorial
on how to set it up? I read the sun tutorial, don't understand it. Thanks,

    Jodie

Check your server documentations if you run the server or contact the one
    who is adminstering the server.
