    your opinion please

I was wanting the opinion of both C++ and Java programers. I am an
intermediat VB developer. I was wanting to learn a more powerful language
and naturally C++ and Java are the two candidates. Which do you recomend?

It depends on what it is you want to do. Both have their value... So what
is it that you want to do?

It depends on what you want to do. Java is somewhat easier to learn as C++,
but it is a little slower than C++. What do you want to do?
