I'm trying to help a number of people who receive an error message when attempting to download zip files from our Java applet. The message is - "Your browser is preventing the applet from accessing your file system". I've been thru the Security settings in IE, specifically checked Microsoft VM Java Permissions, which is set to High safety. All other settings in Security are exactly the same as mine. The fault happens in WinXP, Win98 and in IE5.0 & IE6.0. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
