    Question Java Tests

    Hi,

Is there a way to test if a user can support Java from my website?

    Thanks,

    Hi, Steve

The following link leads to a page with a java class which tests which version of Java is installed on a browsing computer. There is a source code link included, which should give some food for thought.

    http://www.cpm2002.hpg.ig.com.br/alessandro/J3D/

Obviously, if there is absolutely NO java at all on the browsing computer the applet will fail... bit of a Catch22

    Hope it helps
