    Getting Data from Applets

I've figured out how to create an applet and on the applet I have a form.
    Someone types into the form.
Since an applet can't write a file, what is the best way to get the info
from the applet to someplace it can be used?
    Thanks.

    Re: Getting Data from Applets

You could send it to the server (where the applet was loaded from) and
process it in a CGI program (such as a Java servlet). See
http://www.gamelan.com/journal/techworkshop/ for a couple of articles (last
Jan and Feb) that suggest how you might do that.
