Re: Can't load Swing Applet in a browser
Satish,
I assume you already have the Java Plugin installed. I grappled with the
same problem for over a week, until finding out that the problem was a bug
in the Plugin software, that Sun (graciously), declined to mention in the
FAQs!
Here's the solution: Open the Plugin customization screen from the Control
Panel. In the "Basic Tab", enter the following in the "Java Runtime Parameters"
Text box: set classpath=./
That's it! Hope this helps.

Re: Can't load Swing Applet in a browser
Rebun,
Even i was facing the same problem and it is still there as i was not able
to locate the plug_ins option from control panel. i am using windows-NT and
i have given the write class path in the enviorment properties tab of mycomputer.
A normal awt applet is properly running whereas swings are not working in
the browser.
please try using tabbedpane class using applet and then try openning the
applet using browser instead of appletviewer.
Thanks
Puneet
