    download request from applet

    Hello, can anyone help

What is the command you use to get an applet to request a download when pressing
    a Button.
eg in exactly the same way a request is made when you select a hypertext
link to download something in html.

What command do I need to call or code do I write in the actionPerformed()
    method.

Thanks in advance for your help
