I've read somewhere that you can't connect to a database (i'm using MS Access)
from an applet running in internet explorer. Only netscape allows that. is
that true?

One of my main problems is that my cardlayout will not flip to another card
after i connect to the database. i started with card1, then a click, go to
card2, do connection, won't go to card3. can any1 help? thanks for your time

btw: i'm using swing for my applet. don't ask me to change it to awt applet,
cause i need it to be a swing class.
