Othello in Java

Anybody over here knows the game Tiny Othello -- what language it was originally
written in?

How can I module it in a Java application if it was originally not? Specifically,
I don't know how to code it in Java. I saw a similar code with pointer in
Pascal. I just wonder how to do in Java that is without pointer (if it was
originally in C/C++ or the like that is with pointer).

Please let me know.
