    Generic data parser

    Hi,

I need to write a parser that converts any inputted data to XML structure.
Any idea where to start from will be happily accepted.

Do some research and come back when you have an understanding of what XML
and parsers are and what they are used for. There are enogh sites with XML
    tutorials/books.

    I'm much beyond that stage.
It's not a standard XML task.

Your question is too vague. A parser to convert any inputted data? That
could be everything from somebody shoving a piece of paper under your door
to a SQL-Server record set, IMNSHO. What's the context?

Products like WebLogic does this. My problem with your request to "convert
any inputted data to XML structure" is that the purpose of XML (and any relational
database) is that data and its structure is the critical element of the whole
    propose.
