I followed the article and still have problems.
tomcat.bat gives the message unable to locate servlet.jar ckeck value of
tomcat_home.
running tomcat at localhost 8080 gives error 500 for the examples.

The servlet.jar file is in the "Lib" directory. Make sure it is there. You
shouldn't be running tomcat.bat directly. The two batch files you should
be using are start.bat and stop.bat.

If you are still having trouble, please email me directly and we'll try to
resolve this. Make sure you include the exact output of start.bat and your
windows version.
