Almost there with Linux
Hello,
Can anybody tell me if Linux OS's made by RedHat, Mandrake, or other companies
come with a dual boot type feature. I would like to be able to have two
operating systems, a Windows OS and a Linux OS because I have heard that
your internet connections my have problems otherwise.
Thanks,

Re: Almost there with Linux
When u install linux, it shows the existing partitions in the disk and asks which
one u would like to use... or something like that. If u have c&d drive in windows,
chose one drive for linux and divide it into various partitions as described by
the
installation program.
After completion of installation, during reboot u get lilo: prompt. if u type
dos, it will go to windows and if u typr linux or don't type anything, it will
go to linux. (this can be changed though).
I think this is what u wanted
