XML support in DB-s like Oracle or SQL Server
What is the essence of XML support in databases, say in Oracle or XML Server,
please?
Does it allow me to operate XML documents which are just backed by DB table(s)?
I mean, may I, after some DB configuration, read/modify/submit XML documents
to the DB, and not to get involved anymore (since the administration of appropriate
DB stuff is done) in how the DB dissects the XML doc to store it?
Thanks in advance,
Igal.
