Listener: a server process that listens for and accepts incoming connection
requests from client applications. Oracle listener process start up database
shadow processes to handle subsequent communications with the client.
Listener.ora is the configuration file that describes one or more TNS listeners
on a server.It contains e.g. port number, host, protocol
