Arabic problem view
can any body tel me how to solve this problem
my problem is that the "/" in the text field it change the postion of numbers
that mean when i tray to enter the folwing from RTL 01/09 it change it to
09/01
is there any api to solve this problem

Solve how, exactly? I see the exact same behavior on Arabic NT4 and on US
Windows 2000 with Arabic keyboard..... Arabic does not seem to format dates
and numbers the way that you are expecting here.
VB is just following the behavior of every other application with Arabic
text, as far as I can see. Do you have an example of a case where it is
doing something the way you would like it to happen?

Word solves it through using an entirely different mechanism (Uniscribe).
This is not really an option for VB apps (although you can get it by using
richedit 3.0, which means hosting your own version of the control, not the
VB ActiveX control).
