    Crystal Reports 7.0 again

    I can't transfer a ParameterFields to Crystal.
    CrystalReports1.ParameterFields(0) = "Test;2000, 1, 4;True"
If the Parameter is set to a date in Crystal, I can't see report coming up.
Is this the right way to create a Parameter with a date. If the Parameter
is set to string then I see the report but I can't use the parameter to compare
    to a date database field.

    Patrick,

I don't normally use the OCX, which is why my help was less-than-helpful in
the last thread. I've actually tried this method and it works for me using:

    .ParameterFields(0) = "Test;Date(2000, 1, 4);TRUE"

It is a bug in Crystal Reports 7
I have the same problems with sql stored procedures parameters.
I solve this problem by converting parameters to string data type
and using conversion functions in database or in report.
Sql Server database automatically converts strings to dates in expressions
like : WHERE DateField = 'String Parameter"
I hope my informationís will be useful for You.
