    Can you copy the file to your temp directory with an
    .exe extension and open it as an executable? When you're
    done with the program you can delete the temporary
    executable and no one will notice. Either that or just
    rename the file, run it, then rename it back.

    ok I know need to make the prog run the txtFile (C:\(The Dir)\prog.eee) as a

    Call ShellExecute(hwnd, "Open", txtFile, "", "C:\(The Dir)\", 1)
