How do you get rid of a mutex?

Well.. that is it! I know how to create one, but how the heck do I make it
    go away?

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Johnathan,

To create it I use CreateMutex API call... how do I get rid of it?

Not really sure what you mean.

To create a mutex, you call some locking routines. To get rid of it, don't
    call those routines.

    Rob,

    >I know how to create one, but how the heck do I make it go away?

    From MSDN:

"Use the CloseHandle function to close the handle. The system closes
the handle automatically when the process terminates. The mutex object
is destroyed when its last handle has been closed."
