    API TO SHUTDOWN NT


    Is there is anyone that can help me to use an api to shutdown the entire domain?
    I would really appreciate any help.

    Take a look at the following API: ExitWindowsEx. It allows you to Logoff
    the user or shutdown the system, reboot the system...etc....

    Take a look at the following API: ExitWindowsEx. It allows you to Logoff
    the user or shutdown the system, reboot the system...etc....

    There is one catch to this under NT. You have to call AdjustTokenPrivileges
    to enable your app to shut the system down.

    There is one catch to this under NT. You have to call AdjustTokenPrivileges
    to enable your app to shut the system down.

    Take a look into InitiateSystemShutdown. You can do that from a remote
    computer as well. You need to adjust the token privileges for this as well
    and you need to have the respective right to remotely shutdown a computer.
