DataReport without DataEnvironment

Hi all,

Rather stupid question but...

How can I use DataReport with a created via SELECT
statement recordset. Or is that right.
The hole idea is that I must select from three tables
some records depending on a specific field and
predefined relations and with that i must create a
Datareport to be printed!

Any advice will be good for me.
