quiting an infinite loop
i am new to VB programming and need to know how to quit an infinite loop,
and the keyboard commands to stop program execution, if any.
thanks in advance
Re: quiting an infinite loop
If you are in an infinite loop, it is pretty tricky to quit. Try pressing
the stop button in VB several times, or press Ctrl-Break several times.
Another possibility is to click in your code to try to set a breakpoint.
If your loop is prone to this problem, put a DoEvents command in the middle
of the loop. Remove the command when you have fixed the problem.
I hope your loop eventually ends.
