Disable copy command / software protection
I am trying to determine if it is possible for vb to disable the "copy command"
on the windows explorer. This is what I am trying to do. We would be creating
softwares/albums/online tests on CDs and we want to, as much as possible
stop others from copying the contents of the CD. And if possible also, prevent
others from duplicating the CD. Or if others would be successful in duplicating
the contents or the CD itself, the copy would not work. Can anyone help
me on this?

You could writing a shell extension (read "Visual Basic Shell Extension by J.P.
Hamilton for details on how to do this). However, I can't believe you are
asking this. This is a real invasion of people's computers ( assuming these
machines don't belong to you ), and could get you into <real> trouble with
lawsuits if you deliberately disabled perfectly reasonable functionality within
the Windows operating system. Anyway, as with all things, if people <really>
want to be able to do something like this, there is <nothing> that can stop
them from doing it.
