    opening default Email client

I am trying to opent he default email client and be able to send an email
from there. I have seen lots of Active X controls for making your own wmail
client but I don't want to use one of those so that our customers don't have
to go through all the configuration.

Is this possible, does anyone know about any toold that would be useful?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

Use the ShellExecute API do something like this:
    ShellExecute 0&,"Open","Mailto:mymail@xxx.com","",""
