Hi,
wel u can create a chat program by using two techniques. One by using the Winsock control provided by VB, and the second using any database support.
For winsock control create two standard EXEs containing winsock control and map a common socket no to them (it can be any valid int). Afterwards dial to another control using winsocks properties and u can connect.
For another one, u can create a table in any database to store messages from users and map them to specific user.
