Has anyone user the winsock compent in VB as a reference before ?

    Hi everyone,

Is any VB Expers out there ever used a MSWINSCK.OCX as a reference rather
that a component in VB ?

Apparently I have this piece of code to maintain. The previous programmer
refer to the OCX as a reference instead of a component in a project. The
intesting part is .. it works in a server/pc if there is Visual Studio install
in it. If we deploy the exe to a server where there isn's Visual Studio install
in it .. if fails ...

Hope to get your response .. Thanks a lot guys.

FYI: You can only remove the reference by manually editing the VBP file.
