    Cannot paste from Clipboard

I'm getting an error that says "Cannot paste data from clipboard".
I was wondering if anyone had come accross this problem. The application
    is
copying data to the clipboard then an xla is pasting the data from the
clipboard into an Excel spreadsheet. It works fine up to a point and then
I receive the error above. There is data on the clipboard when this occurs
but it can't paste it into Excel for some reason. Is there a size limit
on the clipboard I'm not aware of or some other clipboard limitations?

If you could post your code or provide an indication as to the type of content you are pasting and
where you are pasting it (in a cell?) it might give us a better idea.

I was told that there is a clipboard size limit, 16 "pieces". I would say
you need to delete the clipboard after and bit and continue. if you are using
VBA in excel, then you will have to find code to delete the clipboard since
VBA doesnt have a clipboard object.
