    Hi Nagaraju

Go to www.mvps.org/vb/, go to the Samples page, and download FileInfo.Zip.
In that zip file is a class module CFileInfo.cls which (amongst many other
things) provides a translation between the long filename and pathname and
    the DOS filename and pathname.
